in #CASE you missed it… Elderly woman reunited with children after a decade on the streets.
For a lot of people as their parent’s age taking care of them in the elderly years can be a challenge. It could be cancer, emphysema , or even Alzheimer, dementia, and memory loss.
For one man Brett Hanlon his mom, Kayannette Gabrielle went missing from her home in Valencia in 2006.
Of course he reported her disappearance to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department however she went missing for a decade. The cops tried following up on leads and tips but nothing turned up, nothing at all!
Turns out Kayannette suffers from severe memory loss. She eventually ended up in a Rescue Shelter where Jill Wallerstedt, the director, came to know her.
Two weeks ago, Gabrielle told a staff member that she remembered her name and some personal information.
On Saturday, Gabrielle reunited with Hanlon, her daughter Colette and her son Jared at a hotel in Santa Barbara.
