More than 200,000 adults in Washington live with serious mental illness and more than 70,000 children live with serious mental health conditions. Nationally, suicide is the eleventh-leading cause of death overall and is the third-leading cause of death among youth and young adults aged 15-24. 

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
