Deputies in Fort Worth Beach, Florida, were alerted after a call dispatched them to a home to help "someone screaming for help."
According to the sheriff's office Facebook post, "Hilarity ensued."
The police shared a video of four officers approaching a man working on his car in his driveway. After being told why they were there, the man looks toward his backyard and yelled, "Rambo!" He told the police, "I'll bring out the screamer to you." The police waited, and the man returned with his friend - a parrot.
The bird greeted the officers who all laughed about the incident.
