Many businesses have had to make adjustments to working virtually, including courtrooms. The Parsons family had been eagerly awaiting the day they could celebrate their newly adopted seven-year-old son,Dominic’s official court adoption, but because of the coronavirus, the venue was switched from a courthouse to a conference.
The dad,Christopher, admits the change of plans was a “big bummer” at first, but then he and his wifeTania realized they were excited to make it legal, no matter where it happened. He says the important thing is “he’s still gonna be our son officially.”
