in #CASE you missed it… 5 types of bosses that can make work a total nightmare.

While Halloween is known for its scares, there are plenty of people who deal with horrors on a daily basis when they go to the office thanks to their nightmare of a boss. Some people may be lucky and actually like their boss, but there are plenty of bosses that spark terror in their underlings for different reasons.

Well, a new report reveals the five-type of monster bosses out there and we’re pretty sure a lot of people have experienced at least one, if not all of them at some point in their working lives.

Types of monster bosses include:

Esteem Killers – These bosses are experts at knocking their employees down, whether it’s by taking credit when they do a great job, or blaming the employee when results aren’t spectacular, even if the employee did everything the boss asked for. To survive such a boss, experts suggest colleagues need to “support each other” because such esteem killers can easily pit you against the people you work with.

Creepy Commanders – These bosses like to demand you do all sorts of things for them, and dismiss your work as “not that important” even if you’ve put your all into it. If such demands aren’t part of your actual job description, experts say you need to look at whether the rest of your job is worth dealing with such annoying tasks. If it isn’t, you may want to start looking for another gig.

Bloodsuckers – These bosses think all your time should be spent thinking about work, and they contact you at all hours of the day, night or weekend with things they need done a.s.a.p. Experts say you need to set strict boundaries with these types of bosses, and you especially need to resist the urge to respond to them at all hours.

Self-Obsessed Ghouls – These people have no respect for other employees, will walk away while others are talking to them, take calls in the middle of meetings, and even mock people and expect you to find it funny. According to experts, these are some of the most dangerous types of bosses and can easily destroy people. The best bet is to plan a way out, and as one expert put it “bite your tongue while you bide your time.”

Control Freaks – These bosses will let you know when even the tiniest thing is wrong, like coming in just a few minutes late, or will make a federal case out of a simple email mistake. As long as these folks aren’t punitive, they can be good people to work for, that is if you comply with their rules. If you don’t, you aren’t likely to have a great working experience.

Are you the boss at your office? Do you think you fall into any of these categories?
