in #CASE you missed it… Earth-Like Planet Discovered

Astronomers say a newly-discovered exoplanet might have an atmosphere that could support life.

The Earth-sized planet is only eleven light years from our solar system. Astronomers say the planet they're calling Ross 128-b might have a surface similar to Earth's, meaning it could be a temperate world that could support life. In a report being released today, astronomers say it takes Ross 128-b just under ten days to complete an entire orbit around its red dwarf host star.

Scientists plan on using a high powered telescope to further study the possibility of supporting life.
