We all probably know someone that has an allergy to Peanuts. You know the folks who even get a wiff of Mr. Peanut who go into shock and could even die…. Yeah DIE!!!!
Scary that a small nut could do so much, however now Science is here to really help those in need.
The first treatment to help prevent serious allergic reactions to peanuts may be on the way. A company said Tuesday that its daily capsules of peanut flour helped children tolerate nuts in a major study.
The study involved nearly 500 kids ages 4 to 17 with severe peanut allergies.
The results have not yet been reviewed by independent experts, but will be presented at a medical meeting next month.
