There are more things to concern yourself with than other people's fashion choices, hairstyles, and body types. You would think people would focus their attention on bigger issues, and yet here we are.
A reporter in Dallas knows all too well that people still have to give their opinions on everything after a Facebook user completely went off on her choice of dress while delivering the traffic report.
Demetria Obilor has only been on the job for a few weeks, and it's probably safe to say she's riding high on landing a killer job. For one of her recent segments, Obilor wore a stunning red dress that looked great on her.
Almost immediately after the show, one viewer decided to express her comments on the outfit Obilor chose.
Jan Shedd wrote:
“Has anyone seen Channel 8's new morning traffic reporter? Her name is Demetria Obilor & she's a size 16/18 woman in a size 6 dress and she looks ridiculous. I understand that when I watch Channel 8 I’m going to get biased reporting and political correctness, but clearly they have taken complete leave of their senses. I’m not going to watch Channel 8 anymore."
Um...excuse me? The post has since been deleted, but not before going completely viral with over 12,000 retweets on Twitter. People were quick to jump on Jan, and also to defend Demetria. But the best response to the situation was from the reporter herself.
