This is just devastating news….We are talking about innocent children. No matter where you stand with the immigration discussion, these kids didn't do anything.. Blame whoever you want, but please let's try to find them. They might have ended up in the hands of predators...
The federal government has admitting to losing track of nearly 15-hundred immigrant children who crossed the U.S.-Mexico border on their own.
The Trump administration has faced recent criticism after it was reported that the Department of Health and Human Services lost track of the minors that were placed under U.S. custody. An official with the Department of Health and Human Services testified last month that the agency lost track of the children in 2017.
Agency officials are arguing that it's not the department's legal responsibility to find those children once they're out of their custody. The issue has gained more attention amid reports that immigrant children are being separated from their parents at the U.S. border.
