Ok, I'm taking guesses, but I'm assuming your grandparents probably had this. It would come out for Thanksgiving, and sit out on the hutch filled to the rim until after New Year's until the bowl was empty, and then went back in the cupboard. It is an old nuts bowl, with nut cracker, and nut picks. Back in the days we had to crack our own nuts ;) now is a lot easier but not so much fun. SHARE if you remember this.....
