It’s Official: You Can Now Be Compost After Death In Washington

Washington is the first state to legalize human composting.

Yes, that means if yo want to forego the whole casket, funeral, gathering ordeal after you pass… you can get tossed on a compost pile.

Governor Jay Inslee signed the bill into law yesterday. When the composting is complete, the soil is returned to loved ones. They in turn can use the soil plant flowers, vegetables or trees. The argument for human composting is it's an alternative to cremation and burials. Proponents argue it would be great in cities where the land for graveyards is running out.

You know what the Bible says: from dust you came and from dust you shall return. Here’s your chance!
