After first taking to Twitter before departing the White House yesterday, Mr. Trump all but admitted that Russia gave him a hand – though he was clear he didn’t have anything to do with it. As you can imagine the media outlets reported the news quickly, particulaly because untul then, the president had always denied Russia interfered with our election.
But later, he got very tense with the suggestion when a reporter asked about it, retorting, “Russia did not help me get elected. You know who got me elected? I got me elected."
