Is Breaking Bad Coming Back?

Is Breaking Bad returning? There are rumors all over the internet today after former Breaking Bad stars Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston posted the same photo of two mules (drug mules?), with the word. "Soon."

What do we know?

According to IMDBpro, Aaron Paul is currently filming "Untitled Breaking Bad Movie," written and directed by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan. The production started on November 21, 2018. There is no release date. The quick summary states, "Following the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom."

There was a project codenamed Greenbriar, that was listed as in production near Albuquerque, New Mexico, that was reported by the Albuquerque Journal last fall.

In November, Bryan Cranston confirmed there was a movie, but he had not seen a script.

But what could the movie be about?

The end of original Breaking Bad series observed the death of Walter White's character, Walter White. However, the scene depicted Walter White collapsing onto the ground, with a gunshot wound. The assumption is that he died at the moment, but there is no confirmation. Even if he did survive, he would still be afflicted with lung cancer and would not be alive much longer. Perhaps he would be alive just long enough for the movie!

Deadline is reporting the movie will air on Netflix and AMC, with Netflix getting the first airing and AMC second.
