President Trump's approval rating is at the highest it has been since he was elected president, a new Washington Post-ABC News poll that was published on Saturday found.
Trump's numbers are up five points to 44-percent, the highest of his presidency. However, 53-percent disapprove of Trump's performance in office. The poll says 51-percent approve of Trump's handling of the economy, while only 42-percent approve of his handling of taxes, and only 29-percent agree with him on global warming.
Some of the biggest takeaways are that a large majority, 65-percent, agree that Trump has "acted in a way that's unpresidential," while only 28-percent say his behavior is "fitting and proper" for a president. Still, only 37-percent support Congress starting impeachment proceedings against Trump.
The survey shows some potential issues during his reelection bid.
