A Deerfield Beach, Florida man gets the “Bad Ass of the Week” award for helping save a neighbor’s life this past Friday. As the story goes,Alan Potrzuski heard screaming from his neighbor’s house at around 10 in the morning. When he looked, everyone appeared to be outside except “Grandma.” Alan works in pest-control, so he strapped on his re-breather, and charged into the house, fire-extinguisher at the ready. By the time firefighters arrived, Granny was safely outside and most of the fire had been put out. The cause of the fire ended up being the dishwasher, and now Potrzuski needs to go buy himself a new fire extinguisher.
