A newly released poll of Ohio voters shows former Vice President Joe Biden defeating President Donald Trump in 2020.
Results of the early poll by Quinnipiac University were released yesterday showing Biden with an eight-point lead over Trump in the Buckeye state. The poll surveyed other Democratic candidates' chances in the election with only Biden defeating the President by a significant margin.
The key, it’s believed, is Ohio is a blue collar state and Biden is seen as a blue collar guy. Since 1964, no presidential candidate has ever won the White House without carrying Ohio.
