Teen Cashier Buys Cop's Dessert, Couple Next In Line Wanted Him Fired

18-year-old Zack Randolph was working Sunday at Great American Cookies at Katy Mills Mall. When one of the police officers that works at the mall decided to stop for a cookie. Zack. Out of the kindness of his heart, Zack decided to buy the officer’s $2.75 brownie using his own money. He simply wanted to show thanks to the officer for working to keep the community safe.

When the officer left, a couple that was waiting asked Zack to get free dessert, because they claimed they have the same right as the officer that got the free cookie. Zack said that he could not do that, so they verbally attacked him, call him racist and other derogatory terms. Even worse, the next day Zack found out he had been fired.

His mom like any other mom was furious and posted a long rant on facebook. Zack in the meantime told his mom he'll do it again because he respects the law enforcement community.

The good news is that the company that fired him, hired him back, apologized to him for the misunderstanding.
