City Buying Huge Boulders To Prevent The Homeless From Setting Up Tents

So the residents of San Francisco has come up with an unusual way of dealing with their homeless problem. Residents in some communities are so fed up with the homeless pitching tents on the sidewalks. So to prevent this from happening, some have ordered around two dozen massive boulder rocks to be placed along the streets in order to deter the homeless from camping out on them. Each of these rocks weighs hundreds of pounds and they are hoping they act as barriers.

The boulders don't block the sidewalk but do limit the space available for tents. Seems a bunch of residents chipped in a few hundred dollars each and that's what they came up with. Homeless advocates call it a cruel response and not a solution.
