This is one heck of a way to spend your last night single. A Texas groom spent his pre-wedding day robbing a bank in order to actually pay for his fiancee's ring and the venue that they were supposed to get married at.
Heath Bumpous robbed the Citizens State Bank on Friday morning and then confessed to the crime afterward. He is being charged with robbery after he went into the local bank indicating he had a weapon and demanded money.
He left with the stolen cash and got a call from his fiancee saying that she saw the video footage of him robbing the bank on Facebook. She convinced him to turn himself in and the sheriff recovered most of the stolen money and thanked the man's family for their help in getting him to turn himself in. He remains in jail.
