Canadian Cannabis Company Must Destroy $58M In Pot. What A Waste!

Apparently, Canadian cannabis producer CannTrust was growing weed beyond what their licensing allows. That’s because the pot company was cited by their government for “insufficient security controls at the manufacturing facility” and “inadequate quality assurance investigations and controls.” In the end, CannTrust must destroy $58.2-million of “plants and inventory” to get their license back and return to business.
