First day in Bend Oregon was solid. The town is CHOCK FULL of cool eateries, breweries, and shopping. You can walk to everything. Being with a 9 year old cuts down on your lady shopping for sure, but we did manage to find a cool arcade (that served craft beers:)) and we killed it in there. Stopped into for a kombucha tasting elsewhere, record store, and snow gear perusing.
Topped it off with a amazing weather and a dip in the hotel pool. This is living.

We also had an absolutely gorgeous day here at Mount Bachelor in Bend Oregon. Josh got fitted seamlessly for rentals and his lesson instructor is "so cool". The idea of "ski culture" used to be somewhat overwhelming to me but here, it's totally easy, and everyone is super helpful.

Forgive me for overdosing you on my trip to#bendoregon. Josh boarded, we wandered around Smith rock state park, hit up the rim rocker trail and he spent some time watching me drink craft beer, in exchange for my company while he ate ice cream at an old fashioned ice cream joint. A friend told me : Make your memories while you can with these kids, before they're eye rolling you to death.
We will surely be back to Bend. A new favorite. Walkability, foodiecentric, outdoors heaven and adventure base camp. Thank you.
