in #CASE you missed it… Neighbors Start Food Pantry

Two women set up a food pantry on a table outside their Wisconsin homes.

A pair of Wisconsin neighbors wanted to do their part to help others in need during the coronavirus, so they set up a food pantry right outside their homes. Leahrae Longoria and Lori Warhol went through their own pantries, shopped for some new groceries, and set them all out on a table outside their houses in West Allis for anyone in the community to take.

The women got the word out on social media and now others are stepping in to help their cause. People are dropping off canned goods and dried food items, and even baby formula for the food pantry.

“It’s such a small thing for us to do,” Longoria says, “but it’s such a big blessing to some.”
