in #CASE you missed it… Blue Light From Phone Affects Your Sleep

Blue light – aka the light that emitted from your smart phone – has the ability to make you feel more alert and elevate your mood. Why does that matter? Studies show that it can “suppress melatonin,” thus making getting to sleep a pain in the butt.

Since we all seem to be addicted to our phones, it’s no wonder our sleep patterns are seriously messed up. Dr. Mike Varshavski says you can help yourself by getting into a no-phone zone a minimum of two-hours before you hit the rack.

Using dimmer lights in your home and investing in some blue-light proof glasses might also help if the two-hour drought proves to be impossible for you.
