TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: Adopted Twins Meet Birth Mom

Steve Bibel and his brother Dave Bibel flew out to meet their mom, Marge Garguilo, for her 80th birthday.

A mom and her sons have finally been reunited after a lifetime apart and they’re all delighted. MargeGarguilo was young and poor when she got pregnant, so she left New York for California where she planned to put the baby up for adoption.

She had no idea she was having twins until they were born, so she insisted the brothers be adopted together. They were and she never saw them again, until recently. Thanks to a DNA test from 23 and Me, Dave Bibel and Steve Bibel found their birth mom and flew out to Phoenix to meet Marge for the first time for her 80th birthday.

The emotional reunion was described as “miraculous” and the 60 years that had gone by didn’t seem to matter.

“God took care of me,” Marge says. “And had me live this long so I could meet them.”
