Las Vegas is known as Sin City, and there's good reason for that, but people in all states have their various vices, and there’s no doubt some states are way more sinful than others. And now a new report reveals which are the most sinful of them all.

  • WalletHub has just come out with their annual list of the Most Sinful States in the U.S.
  • They judged al 50 states on 47 key indicators that fall into seven categories – Anger & Hatred, Jealousy, Excesses & Vices, Lust, Vanity and Laziness.
  • So, which state is the most sinful?
  • Yup, likely thanks to Vegas, Nevada does top the list yet again.
  • The gambling, eating, and partying mecca scores a 55.60 out of 100 on the Vice Index.
  • Vegas tops the list for greed, but is also in the Top Five for jealousy, lust & excesses and vices, and is at six for laziness, and nine for anger and hatred.

  1. Nevada
  2. California
  3. Texas
  4. Georgia
  5. Florida
  6. Louisiana
  7. Tennessee
  8. South Carolina
  9. Illinois
  10. Mississippi
  • On the flipside, Wyoming ranks dead last on the list with an overall index score of just 25.19.
  • Wyoming ranks in the bottom ten in every category except anger & hatred and lust.
