Fishermen Save Litter Of Newborn Kittens Found At Sea

A litter of kittens had an adventure at sea and survived thanks to a group of kindhearted fishermen. A three-man crew on a boat in Poland found six newborn kittens tangled up in the fishing nets on their boat and took care of them until they were back on dry land.

The fishermen had already set off when they discovered the little bundles of fur, so they carefully dried them off and put them inside a box lined with cloth. The crew then reached out to the Tail Up Foundation, a local animal rescue group, to find out how to feed them.

Being out at sea, the fishermen had no bottles or milk available for the kittens, so they used makeshift supplies they had on board the boat. Crew members took turns feeding the kittens sugar water every hour for four days using an e-cigarette refill bottle. After keeping them alive at sea, the fishermen turned the kittens over to the foundation, which calls them “heroes in the true sense of the word!”
