Quarantines Have Affected The Mental Health Of Cats

Experts say the quarantines and families being at home all day really messed with their moods. Unlike dogs, who loved it, many cats became depressed or moody. Cats, experts explain, love to have free reign over the home. When you’re hanging around they can’t.

Your pets are used to you being away for up to 10 hours a day, so it’s been a shock. And if you’ve gone back to the office, that’s confusing to them too.

When it comes to depression, look for signs of kitty being sluggish, hiding a lot, not eating, or not grooming much. If they’re going through that, call your vet to have your furry pal checked out.
