A Toilet Paper Shortage Is Coming Again

This latest round of panic-buying comes as the delta variant of the coronavirus is driving a surge in COVID-19 cases and deaths. The Wall Street Journal reports many Americans have used up the TP stockpiles they'd been hoarding since last year and some have started buying in bulk again.

Other things shoppers are snapping up: paper towels.

Kimberly-Clark, which makes Cottonelle and Scott toilet paper, said in a statement Tuesday it's "working hard to produce more toilet paper to best meet consumer needs."

Experts urge shoppers to only buy what they need. After all, there’s always online ordering and delivery.
