In Singapore, robot will be on street patrol seeking out those engaging in “bad behavior.”
What’s that mean exactly? A trial is now underway where two patrolling robots will be roaming their already safe streets on the lookout for those blowing off COVID-19 measures, smoking in restricted areas, and improperly parking bikes.
In theory, these bots will provide “surveillance and display messages on proper behavior,” while the human cops spend their time on more pressing matters.
