He had his coveted spot on the sofa...and punishment came to anyone taking it. It turns out, most Americans have their “spot” too.
Whether it’s at the kitchen table, the recliner, or on the sofa, we’re so loyal to that spot that fights happen twice a month over them! About 68-percent admit being very passionate about their spot.
More than half of us (55%) would feel uncomfortable sitting anywhere else but our favorite spot. A bold quarter would politely ask someone to move out of it.
Why do we love our spot? Many say the piece of furniture or the position of it holds good memories. Some just like the comfort.
