Pizza is always a crowd pleaser. It's usually the best solution for any group arguing about what to eat, but a new question soon arises — which pizza place is the best? Whether you prefer your slices simple and cheesy or loaded up with extra sauce and as many toppings as it can hold with collapsing, Washington has plenty of incredible options to grab a tasty pie.
According to a list compiled by LoveFood, the "best pizza place" in all of Washington is MOTO Pizza. This popular restaurant, which has locations in Seattle and Edmonds, serves up unique pizzas like a clam chowder-inspired pie or a Detroit-style pie topped with shrimp and pineapple.
Here's what LoveFood had to say about the yummy slices served at this beloved Evergreen State eatery:
"Traditionalists might balk at the wacky creations cooked up at MOTO, but this wildly popular West Seattle spot is considered the best pizza place int he city. It only opened in 2021, but cause such a stir (not to mention lengthy lines) it's already expanded, opening extra locations in Edmonds and Belltown. Here you can feast on chunky Detroit-style rectangular pizzas, made from a century-old sourdough starter, and topped with Filipino-influenced ingredients like pork belly, crab, and banana ketchup. Most popular is the Clam Chowdah, a heady mix of clams, smoked bacon, Parmesan, chives, and a creamy 'Chowdah' sauce."
