A family is California had to lock themselves in an upstairs bedroom after a bear got into their home.
A woman and her husband opened a back door to let their cats in and that's when the bear walked in. The couple ran upstairs to their bedroom and locked themselves in while they waited for authorities to help. At some point, the bear left the home on its own. But they said the bear stayed in the house for quite some time and left a mess in the kitchen.
