A couple in Glasgow discovered their hotel windows were NOT tinted after neighbors complained about their "lack of modesty".
The pair had been enjoying a romantic getaway in the city under the illusion that the glass in their room was "privacy protected”. Apparently, they’d actually been giving strangers an eyeful as everyone could see directly through their window. One angry neighbor was so annoyed by their antics that they called up the hotel and asked them to tell the romping guests to cover themselves. The couple decided to post about the ordeal on TikTok.In the clip, the woman’s boyfriend can be heard on the phone apologizing. When the woman asked why he was saying sorry, he said: "People have said from the hotel across the road that you need to cover your modesty. The hotel staff said they "don't care what we do" - but warned us that the glass is not privacy protected.” The video has already racked up more than 400,000 views since it was posted on Tuesday. And social media users seem to be firmly on the couple's side. One TikTok viewer said, ”Imagine complaining about people in their own privacy? Must have been creeping on you."
