According to a OnePoll survey, Americans have a top choice for who they’d like to see as the next host of ‘Jeopardy’.
Record-setting “Jeopardy!” champion Ken Jennings (23%) and executive producer Mike Richards (14%) lead the way.
Even though he placed second in the poll, “Jeopardy!” executive producer Mike Richards is apparently in advanced negotiations with Sony Pictures Television to become the permanent host. Richards, who joined the show just last year as executive producer, impressed Sony. A Sony Pictures spokesman said discussions were ongoing with several potential candidates.A source said there’s no certainty that the sides will close a deal, but Richards is clearly the front-runner.
