Pamela Anderson is speaking out on her brief romance with costar Liam Neeson for the first time.

In a new interview with People published Tuesday (December 9), Anderson, 58, revealed that she and Neeson, 73, sparked a romantic interest on set of their 2025 movie The Naked Gun but didn't start seeing each other until after they wrapped filming. After that, they seemingly had a short-lived but personal relationship before the "went our separate ways to work on other films."

"If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming," she said, going on to describe their "romantic lost week."

The pair enjoyed an "intimate week" together at Neeson's home in upstate New York, though Anderson pointed out she "had [her] own room" and other people stopped by, including family and both of their assistants. They would spend time in his garden, The Last Showgirl actress tending to an overgrown rosebush, which Neeson "appreciated," and otherwise enjoy time together far away from Hollywood life.

Despite going their separate ways, the stars' care for each other was evident, not only on the outside looking in with their friendly display while promoting their film but even more personally, like in the way the Taken actor introduced the Baywatch alum as "the future Mrs. Neeson" while they had dinner at a "tiny French restaurant."

Anderson admitted she would laugh when some critics called their flirty demeanor a publicity stunt, noting that "this is real, we have real feelings."

"I adore Liam," she said. "But we are better friends, in full honesty."

Anderson previously shut down the idea that she would engage in a "PR stunt" while accepting the Deauville Talent Award at the 51st Deauville American Film Festival in France in September.

"I do not and will never feed into PR stunts," she said. "That would be a death sentence. I'm authentically driven. I'm superstitious when it comes to love. And I'm not comfortable sharing any shred of my romantic life."
