Quarantine Calculator Will Tell You How Much You Will Weight

There’s a new name going around for the amount of weight you’ll gain while on homebound lockdown. It’s called the “Quarantine 15.” To help you out, career siteZippiahas put together an online calculator to help keep you focused. To come up with their numbers, they’ve taken quarantine time (anywhere from 14 to 120 days), exercise (100 calories per session), snacking, and drinking all into account. Based on their numbers…

  • If you’re home for 14 days, exercise, snack on fruit, and drink water you’ll lose 0.7 pounds.
  • If you’re home for the same time period, don’t exercise, snack on cookies, and drink three beers a day, you’ll put on 3.5-pounds.
  • Taken to the extreme, if you’re home for 140 days, don’t exercise, snack on chips, and drink five beers a day, you’ll put on 41.9 pounds.
